Meet the published HSK/HSKK requirement and obtain a recommending-institution letter
Applicants who received the same type of scholarship within the previous three years are normally not admitted

Central scholarship form, CQNU application form and passport page
Valid HSK and HSKK score reports
Physical examination, notarized diploma/transcript and a Chinese- or English-language study plan of at least 1,000 words
No-criminal-record proof issued within six months, bank certificate of normally at least CNY 25,000, and résumé
