  • A non-Chinese citizen with no criminal record, in good physical and mental health, and interested in Chinese-language education or related work

  • Meet the published HSK/HSKK requirement and obtain a recommending-institution letter
  • Applicants who received the same type of scholarship within the previous three years are normally not admitted

  • Central scholarship form, CQNU application form and passport page
  • Valid HSK and HSKK score reports
  • Physical examination, notarized diploma/transcript and a Chinese- or English-language study plan of at least 1,000 words
  • No-criminal-record proof issued within six months, bank certificate of normally at least CNY 25,000, and résumé
