The university awards full or half first-year tuition waivers to selected new degree students and semester tuition waivers to selected Chinese-language students.
The five-month spring 2027 route requires applications through both the scholarship platform and GDUFS, plus a recommendation from an eligible institution.
GDUFS's official page accepts non-Chinese degree students and incoming applicants. Awards are CNY 10,000 for bachelor, 20,000 for master and 30,000 for doctorate, with an annual 1 May–30 June application period.
