A non-Chinese citizen with no criminal record, in good physical and mental health, and interested in Chinese-language education or related work
Normally 16–35 years old as of September 1, 2026; in-service Chinese-language teachers may be up to 45
HSK 3 (270), HSKK and an eligible recommendation are required
Applicants who received the same type of scholarship within the previous three years are normally not admitted

Recommendation letter signed by the head of the recommending institution
Study plan, highest diploma and academic transcript
Physical examination issued within six months and any other documents requested by SUFE
