Liyuan International Scholarship at SZU — doctoral entrants, March 2027
Liyuan has three award tiers, all with a tuition waiver: first CNY 6,000/month (CNY 72,000/year), second CNY 5,000/month (CNY 60,000/year), third CNY 4,000/month (CNY 48,000/year), paid monthly. The assigned tier is not guaranteed. The brochure does not publish a separate award application form, quota, tier-selection method or renewal timetable; confirm these with SZU. No single monthly amount is assigned to this multi-tier award. The doctoral admission application window is 10 October–30 November 2026. The brochure does not publish a separate scholarship-only deadline or detailed award selection, quota and renewal timetable; this record therefore does not assign the admission deadline as a separate scholarship deadline. The admission fee is CNY 400 or USD 60, paid before submission and non-refundable. Dormitory charges are payable by students: Yuehai CNY 2,400–8,000 per person/semester, Lihu CNY 750 per person/semester, plus water/electricity. Mandatory university-designated insurance is CNY 800 per academic year; registration requires its purchase. These charges are not described as separately waived by the listed grant. A recruited international doctoral student’s supervisor provides at least CNY 12,000 per year for research subsidies or academic exchanges. This is designated research support, not an additional unrestricted living stipend or a promise that all listed grants can be combined. Basic university support may continue for the first extended year only; the brochure excludes the same treatment from the second extended year.
